Can't Lose Weight? Here's Two State-of-the-Art Scientifically-Based Methods To Lose Weight Fast
Don't Give Up!
In the wide world of fitness and weight loss, there is nothing as frustrating as trying to lose weight and getting nowhere fast. It seems as though the scale is conspiring against you, even though you're sticking to an eating plan and spending hours in the fitness club.
STOP!
It ain't working!
If you haven't lost weight in the past few weeks, change up your methods to scientifically based, state-of-the-art, effective methods!
One or both (used in combination) of the methods described below are designed to improve your health and help you burn fat. You won't be taking diet pills, undergo surgery, or popping meds, but you will see results!
The First State-of-the-Art Method
This method is a major fitness trend that actually delivers! It's called high intensity interval training and involves alternating between high and low intensity activity on an aerobic machine, stair-stepping, or even running. It trains your body to burn fat in one-third of the time most people spend on an aerobic machine.
I've written about this method in these two articles:
How to Pick a Quality Exercise Machine That Fits Your Needs And Your Budget
The Second State-of-the-Art Method
I've heard about this method before but basically ignored it because it sounded extreme. But then it appeared in a popular doctor's web site complete with the scientific basis for why it works so well. In addition, it solves another problem that causes people to put on weight - sugar cravings.
It's called intermittent fasting and is the subject of a book by Dr. Michael Mosley The Fast Diet: Lose Weight, Stay Healthy, and Live Longer with the Simple Secret of Intermittent Fasting.
Of course there are critics of this eating plan - fasting 2 of every 7 days. Note that in this case, fasting is really calorie reduction. Dr. Mosley answers his critics in the video shown below.
My observation from reading the material on this subject - this form of fasting forces your body to burn fat (a really good thing for weight loss) instead of sugar. As a result, it reduces sugar cravings. In my experience, sugar cravings are the biggest barrier to weight loss I have faced.
And the maintenance eating plan is one day of fasting per week.

Combine the Methods To Lose Weight FAST
Fast track your weight loss by combining these two methods.
I'd learn how to interval train first and do it for a week or so. It's not a hard activity to pick up and you need not belong to a fitness club to do it. See the first article recommended in the beginning of this article for interval details. Remember to use a heart rate monitor.
After you get used to interval training, introduce the 5-2 Fast Diet Eating Plan.
Do NOT interval train on the days you are fasting.
